Start with the shower

Stepping over a tub wall or a shower curb is where most bathroom falls begin. A curbless shower with a bench, a handheld spray and a grab bar within reach removes that step. It is the single change that does the most.

Plan the walls before you need them

A grab bar is only as strong as what it is screwed into. During any remodel we add solid blocking inside the walls around the shower, tub and toilet, so bars can go exactly where they are needed, now or years from now, without opening the tile.

Good design, not a hospital room

Grab bars come in the same finishes as the rest of the fixtures. A curbless shower is what high-end bathrooms use anyway. Done with care, an accessible bathroom is simply a better bathroom, and it supports resale instead of hurting it.

Questions we get

What is an aging-in-place bathroom remodel?
A remodel that makes the bathroom safe and comfortable to use as mobility changes: a shower with no step, grab bars anchored to solid blocking, a comfort-height toilet, slip-resistant floors, wider doorways and better lighting.
When should we add these features?
Earlier than most people expect. The cheapest time to add wall blocking and a curbless shower is during a remodel you are already doing, before anyone urgently needs them.
Can you make a bathroom wheelchair accessible?
Often, yes. It depends on the room: we look at doorway width, turning space and whether the shower can become a roll-in. We will tell you what is achievable in your floor plan after a site visit.
Do you serve Campbell, Los Gatos and Saratoga?
Yes. We are based in Campbell and remodel bathrooms for accessibility across the South Bay and the wider Bay Area. CSLB License #975092, licensed since 2012.
